From Te Anau the road to Milford Sound winds down the Eglinton and Hollyford valleys then through the Homer Tunnel to be met by Mitre Peak towering from the glassy waters of Milford Sound. Milford Sound is the most famous and accessible of the fiords.
We board the ship, where we will really get an opportunity to see the sights, spot the seals and dolphins, fish the depths and generally soak up the beauty. Lunch on board the vessel.
