Heliskiing at The Cliffs at Kispiox River Lodge - Hazelton, BC
The Skeena Mountain range has a huge diversity of
terrain, from the high vertical slopes with extreme steeps to powder bowls with
pillows and shoots as well as sweeping glade and an abundance of tree skiing providing more
Heliskiing opportunities during bad weather periods. Through Skeena’s
geographical location and diversity of terrain, we consistently enjoy one of the
lowest number of down days in the industry.
The lodge offers an unparalleled quality of accommodation
and is only 6 minutes by helicopter to your first runs. We have chosen to use B2
or B3 helicopters as they allow us to access the best of our terrain in almost
all conditions and better cater for our smaller groups. The Lodge has 8
luxurious guest bedrooms, 2 have King beds, and the rest have 2 Queen beds. Of the six
queen rooms, 3 of those rooms have one queen bed in a loft. All rooms have
sliding glass doors onto a rock tiled deck. The furniture is hand made locally,
including our famous Birch Burl Bed. All rooms are equipped with plush robes,
hair dryers and amenities. We have a ‘wake-up service’ in the mornings, our
staff bring the beverage of the client’s choice to their room. The lodge has a
river rock Jacuzzi hot tub, pool table, foose ball, Satellite T.V.,
wellappointed bar, darts, sitting room, living room, dining room, wireless
internet and a fully equipped kitchen. The staff is friendly and
professional, and the resort han an outstanding chef. A massage
