Quebec Snowmobile Adventure - Nordic Adventures
Day 1: Quebec City Upon your arrival at the Québec City
airport, our representative will be waiting to greet you before you transfer to
your hotel in Québec City. Attend a presentation on your stay, and try on your
equipment. You’re on your own for dinner and free to spend the evening
discovering nightlife in the old capital city! Overnight stay at the Sheraton
Four Points.
Day 2: Quebec City /
St-Aime-des-Lacs Breakfast. You leave your hotel on snowmobile this morning
but, before you go, you’ll meet with your guide and review safety instructions.
Then, you’re off, heading towards the Charlevoix region. There will be no
shortage of breathtaking landscapes to take in today, as you ride through
spectacularly beautiful settings alongside the river. Lunch at a restaurant. At
the end of the day, you arrive at the 4-star Auberge Miscoutine, where a
gastronomic dinner awaits you in the evening. After this first big day, sleep
will comeeasy, that’s for sure!
Day 3: St-Aime-des-Lacs
/ Monts Valin Breakfast. A day of intense activity lies ahead! Crossing the
Fjord by ferry—at the point where the Fjord meets the St. Lawrence River—is
truly amazing. In the summer season, whales can be seen greeting us through the
waves! Parc des Hautes Gorges will also take your breath away! Lunch along the
way, as you take a little time to recover from all the emotions you’re sure to
experience. In the afternoon, we hightail it towards the Valin Mountains! This
evening, your dinner and overnight stay will be at the Auberge du KM 31, ideally
located in the heart of the Valin Mountains. You can enjoy a relaxed and
friendly fondue dinner as you share anecdotes of the day’s
events.
Day 4: Monts Valin / Saint-Honore Breakfast.
Tackle the winding and hilly trails in this mythical setting. After a last look
at the conifers dressed in ghostly white, it’s time to head off towards
Saint-Honoré. Lunch at a restaurant. In the afternoon, you cross the Fjord to
get to the southern side where the landscapes are more urban. Another ride
awaits you but, with the experience you’ve acquired so far, you’ll arrive
peacefully at the Domaine de la chute at the end of the day. You will have the
chance to meet with the colourful owner Maurice, who will charm you with its
famous stories. Dinner and overnight stay at the inn. (rustic place – shared
bathrooms)
Day 5: Saint-Honore / Baie
Saint-Paul Breakfast. We leave the urban environment early for a return to a
wilder clime, making our way towards several squarekilometres of protected
nature where human activity is strictly controlled. Lunch at a restaurant. Keep
your eyes peeled— you may spot hares, caribou, or moose! There’s plenty of snow
here, and you will take delight in discovering this magical place. Arrival in
Baie-Saint-paul at the end of the day. Dinner and overnight stay at the Hotel
Baie-Saint-Paul.
Day 6: Baie Saint-Paul / Quebec
City It’s already time for the last part of your journey! After breakfast, we
take advantage of our last bit of time in the wildlife sanctuary, taking a few
snapshots and appreciating the splendours of the lakes and the fauna. Lunch at a
restaurant. At the end of the afternoon, we arrive at the Sheraton Four Points
hotel to return our snowmobiles and equipment. Take in a visit to the Ice Hotel
and enjoy a frozen cocktail. Overnight stay at the hotel. Dinner on your own.
Take a little stroll on the Grande Allée—it’s Saturday and Québec City is
bustling! Enjoy your last evening!
