Golf in Schottland und Wales
Scotland possibly best known for St Andrews "The home of golf" has not
only a plethora of amazing links courses but also many parkland
and heathland courses the majority of which have very reasonable
green fees. Most dedicated golf enthusiasts believe that a visit to
Scotland is the fulfillment of there golfing ambitions. You can enjoy
golf all year round, though the winter months will prove to be a real challenge
to even single handicappers due to the winds blowing in from the rugged
coastlines. The stories of the beautiful landscapes of Scotland are no
myth but a stunning reality that need to be seen to be believed. England
& Wales, are often overlooked by the sun seeking golfer but has always
been extremely popular with the true golfing afficianado. The changes brought
about by global warming has provided the UK with a more temperate all year
climate ideally suitable for golf. There are many little known “hidden gems”
that discerning golfers from all over the world have visited to play what they
call “the real game of golf” compared to the contrived “target golf” provided by
many resort courses. We strongly recommend a visit to the stunning
landscapes of Yorkshire(Northern England) and have collaborated with our UK
business associate Kingsley Drummond and the leading private clubs in this area,
all over 100 years old and host to historical golf championships. We have
put together a package “Hidden Historical Golf Gems” where you can see,
touch, feel, and almost taste the history of true golfing tradition like you
have never experienced before. Although this is golf at the luxury and
privileged end of the market the prices are extremely reasonable and the warmth
of welcome even more so! At traditional clubs like Ganton & Moortown(both
Ryder Cup Venues) Ilkley amidst the Yorkshire moors and the enchanting &
exclusive Alwoodley and Harrogate premier club Pannal, it will be
difficult not to believe you are in heaven!
In addition we can arrange Ryder Cup Packages for Celtic Manor in 2010 and
arrange games at Welsh championship course such as St Pierre(host to Solheim
Cup)
