Penina is located midway between the traditional fishing port of Portimão and the historic town of Lagos in the quieter west of the Algarve. Amazingly, despite being one of Europe’s top golf destinations, Penina is one of the only hotels in the Algarve with an adjoining golf course.

There are three courses, including the world famous Sir Henry Cotton Championship Course – which hosted this year and for 10 times the Portuguese Open.
